The Ramblers Association represents the interests of walkers throughout Great Britain.

The Lampeter Group of the RA covers the middle of Ceredigion and parts of Carmarthenshire.

Lampeter Ramblers came together 21 years ago in 1986 with the first ramble along the river bank to Dolaugwrddon and Pentre-Shon. The walk is featured in our bi-lingual book Llwbrau Llambed or Lampeter walks available locally. The group has flourished with a wide membership in the local area. We are a friendly & relaxed group and always welcome new walkers

We walk most weekends and also arrange weekday walks and our walk leaders strive to offer a wide range and grade of walks to suit most people The Ramblers' promote car sharing & the use of public transport and so we meet together on the Rookery Car Park to organize transport

Most of our walks are within the locality making use of our local paths and the beautiful surrounding countryside
