Organised by the Cambrian Mountains Society

Up to a hundred turbines  140 metres (approximately 450 ft) in total height are planned for the
Nant-y-moch area extending from south west of the dam itself to Cwm Einion (Artists' Valley) in the north. These turbines will be serviced by a dense network of roads and by an overhead line grid connection. The project will destroy one of the most stunning parts of Ceredigion, an area which has been designated as a special landscape area in every local authority structure and other similar or derivative  plan which has been produced to date.
Join the Cambrian Mountains Society on the northern shore of Nant-y-moch on Saturday 20th June, at noon, for a peaceful protest. Bring a picnic with you. Amongst those attending will be artists David Bellamy and Christine Lovelock (daughter of James Lovelock)
There will be speeches and a short walk to Drosgol to appreciate the full impact of the proposals.
How to get there.
You can get to the shore of the Nant-y-moch either from the A44 at Ponterwyd (take the minor road signposted Talybont) or from Talybont on the A487 8miles north of Aberystwyth (take the minor road signposted Nant-y-moch).
